These statements reflect our current expectations based on what we know today. The usual roadmap ground rules: this roadmap may make statements regarding future events and development efforts for our products and services. For information on what is available in Revit 2021 – please check out our blog post and release notes. We hope the hope you enjoy the new enhancements in the release. As all we shelter and work from home, rest assured the Revit is still thinking about what we can do to make your work better in the future. What a wild ride!!! Thank you so much for your loyalty and support over the years. Therefore in order to save my worksets and continue making the changes I need, I have to create two separate files, essentially a new Central and a new Local. This month we’re celebrating 20 years since the release of Revit 1.0. This new model synchronizes with the "Model_detached_1". Save as "Model_detached_2", which behaves as a new local. Save as "Model_detached_1", which behaves as centralģ. Detach from central and preserve worksets.Ģ. This means that I cannot save my work straight in the detached file (now a new Central) - since all save options are grayed. In this case the problem is that the detached version of the original model, since the worksets have been preserved, behaves like a central model itself. For the purpose of the study, I have detached the model from central and preserved all worksets, so that if we decide to continue working on the new version, it would save some time. We have already assigned the elements to several worksets and it would be quite a task at this point to start assigning elements to worksets from scratch (which means that I do not want to detach and discard worksets). We have considered working with design options in the central model but the differences between options would be too big - almost the entire building. After modelling the entire building almost to detail, we need to look into the possibility of drastically reducing its size, therefore making significant changes to the original project (such as changing the level height, building size/span and orientation, grid spacing, load bearing structure and so on). I have the same "problem" with one of our projects.
